16 years after the release of "BEATS!!!! Vol.1" Markey Funk digs deep into his vaults to unleash further chapters in the series, which offer a look behind the scenes at his formative years. Each chapter provides a different angle on Markey's creative world and adds the long-missing context within his discography, spanning now two decades.

The fifth instalment in the series compiles various sketches and instrumentals from between the years 2002 and 2010 and explores Markey's work outside of his projects with BangLaDeath, Rocky B., Rebel Sun and Boiler. Among these 20 tracks, you may find beats intended for Israeli rappers, such as Sagol 59, Nati Hassid, Roison, Cohen & Mushon, as well as cuts from the unfulfilled collaborations with the cult indie artist Ryskinder and singer-songwriter Noa Anava.

The compilation also demonstrates the variety of directions explored by Markey in that period: from sample-heavy cuts, familiar from BLD, to soulful futurism and Brazilian influences of Rebel Sun, to abstract minimalism of Boiler, and some more.
